Today is Jen’s first day at work. She left this morning at 6am so that she could go work out at the gym in the morning. I’m really excited for her and hope that she had a good time at orientation.
For the first time in a long time, I left the house after Jen. When I arrived at work after being out of the office since last Tuesday, I saw that my new LCD monitor was delivered! I was very happy and spent some time getting it set up. I also hooked up my other monitor next to it so I can have a dual-display. Now I’m very happy. Other than that, work today was mostly uneventful - I spent a lot of time setting up all of the accounts and servers as sessions in SecureCRT. There are a lot to keep track of.
Alex D, Casey T, James E, and I had lunch at Panda Express at the Camp Creek location. I don’t care what Jen asys about Panda Express, it’s pretty good.
My ear was still clogged up so I made an appointment to see the doctor tomorrow morning. I tried to page Carole about it while I was in a long meeting but my pager was acting up.
I made it home just minutes before Jen did. She was really exhausted and wasn’t in good spirits. We had some leftovers for dinner and this seemed to cheer her up. I didn’t have a lot of time but we did talk. In the mail we got the bill for my recent ER visit. It was about $5,000! I’m so glad that we have insurance.
At 6:30pm I headed out and went to Clint’s house for the weekly gaming session.
