Work was pretty stressful today and this week as I had a deadline to meet. I ended up working late to get all of the coding done. I know I wanted to do more coding but I certainly hope that this job entails more than just straight coding all of the time.
When I got home I was pretty grumpy because of bad traffic on I285. I was also upset because as soon as we got home we had to head out right away and drive all the way up to Woodstock to participate in yet another family activity tonight.
Jen offered to drive which was nice. She also did a great job cheering me up. When we arrived at Jen's parent's house, everyone was there: Jen's Mom, Jen's Dad, Jen's grandmother, Jen's Aunt Sandy, Jen's Cousin Kevin, Kevin's wife, Lara, and their two kids, Matthew and Jessica.
Also present were four dogs: Chloe, Sydney, Toby, and Duchess. It was a little chaotic but not as bad as Jen described from Monday.
We visited with everyone and then had dinner which consisted of a salad with bacon on top (I loved it) as well as some really good spaghetti.
Eventually we headed out and went home.
