Photoshop CS2

I spent a great deal of time this evening doing post-processing of photos from the previous two trips.

Just recently I acquired Photoshop CS2 and used that exclusively to process photos from Tokyo and Chicago. The Abobe RAW plugin is completely re-designed and I love it. There are now ‘auto’ options for exposure, shadows, and highlights. I was very pleased with the results and definitely prefer the new version over the old version.

Doing all of the processing with the new Photoshop CS2 gave me an excellent opportunity to learn about it as well as get proficient at it. There is another thing called ‘Adobe Camera Negative‘ which is an ‘open’ RAW format to use in order to convert all proprietary ‘RAW’ formats into a common format. I like the concept and plan on exploring it further.

As a result of all the photo-processing work in Photoshop CS2, I created two new photo albums: One for the Tokyo trip and one for the Chicago trip.
