We woke up late this morning, as is typical of a Sunday. Jen and I each had a bowl of cereal. It was a great day outside - much like yesterday.

After we had breakfast, we decided to go outside and walk around the townhomes still under construction. For some time now we’ve wanted to see how the fireplace looks before drywall is put up.

We walked around some of the different townhomes in various stages of construction. We saw a couple with all the drywall up but still being worked on. We went through some that had everything but the drywall up, and then some with just the framing done. It was really fun to see my floor plan in all different stages of construction.

I used my cell phone to snap some crude photos of the construction. Jen and I had a great time doing this. We went back to my place and we took a shower. Afterwards we sat outside on the deck and read our books. It was sunny and nice outside today.

Eventually we packed things up and left. We went to Target and got some things for tonight. We also got some supplies for making Mojitos. Finally we made it over to Jen’s house and had some fun drinks with Lynne using Jen’s new martini set.

Around 6:30pm we all went over to Lisa’s house. Shortly after we got there, Jen and I set out to make some Mojitos. The only problem was that Jen and I had different ideas about how to make them. I had a singular idea in my head from a televised demonstration I saw. Jen wanted to be more free and whimsical about it. I didn’t catch onto this and suggested that we follow the directions. After a few times of this, she gave up and was visibly upset.

After that, the rest of the evening wasn’t so fun.
