It’s been a productive Monday at work today. We made a lot of progress with our technical design for the Exchange Valuation engine I’m working on. After we designed our data objects, we started in on the functional objects. While identifying methods, we first determine what the ‘public’ interface method will be and then drill down to any private methods. At the same time, we also drill down into a sort of sequence diagram to illustrate the flow of events. We go to this level of detail for every use case and it seems to be working quite well.
On my way home from work, Craig called asking if I could go to Austin this weekend - specifically by at least 8:30pm (Austin time).
Michele came over after work because she can spend the night (since her mother is watching Makayla tonight). We went to a Chinese restaurant (next to Canoe) in Vinings for dinner. She had the teriyaki chicken and I had the general Tso’s chicken. After dinner we didn’t do too much other than watch the O’Reilly Factor. After that Michele read her book and I played Asheron’s Call 2 for an hour or two.
