Monthly Archive for December, 1995

Dec 3rd 1995

Sunday, December 3, 1995

Well, It has been exactly one month since I wrote in this last. I have a lot to catch up on I guess. Yesterday, the 2nd, UT beat A&M 16-6. A&M had been undefeated on their home field for a very long time.

Next week is the last week of classes, and then finals start. My last final is on December 19th. The next day I will leave for Atlanta to spend time with Mom and Dad. I have two tests next week, Astronomy, and Logic. Those will be my final and last tests for Astronomy and Logic. After that, over 8 days later is my Calculus final. I will most likely fail that class, but there is nothing that I can do about it now. Then, on the 19th I have my Computer Science final.

I have been spending way too much time on the MUD, ‘Darkover’. A spin off of Sojourn. A lot of disgruntled gods and players from Sojourn left and went to this new mud. I joined them, and like it a lot. I have been spending a little too much time on it though. Chris (John’s friend down the hall), who had been criticizing me for playing ‘muds’ now plays that one too. My roommate, Doug, who was the same way has joined Chris. Needless to say, with both of us wanting to get on the mud, it ties up the phone line a lot.

That’s all I have to write for right now. I will try to write everyday for the next month for sure since a lot will be happening.

I Meant to wake up at 6:00am this morning to do my laundry. I overslept and didn’t wake up until 7:30am however. I did my Laundry, and tried to get change for my only one-dollar bill. Unfortunately the change machine didn’t seem to like my crisp, new 1-dollar bill. I tried about 80 times it seemed to make it give me change. I finally intercepted Chris and was able to get an exchange from him. The new dollar bill worked, and I got my change, and was able to dry my clothes. I played on Darkover for about 2 hours this morning. I went to my last Monday set of classes today. We just did the same stuff. I liked Tennis a lot because We played doubles against a guy who was of a high skill level. I got to learn how to return really fast spinning serves really well. After tennis
