I got up at 10:15. I took a shower, and went to my Calculus class. It was interesting, but boring. After that, I went to lunch and met Doug there. After lunch, I went back to my room and logged on to Sojourn for just a little bit. I went to astronomy following that. Astronomy was pretty good, but I found myself distracted with the idea of starting a bard on Sojourn. Philosophy was next, and I was just as bad, trying to think up names to use on Sojourn for a bard. I went back home after that class to find Doug asleep. We went to dinner. Chris came along and he was upset because he had a test today that he thought he was having on Thursday. After dinner we came back and I logged onto Sojourn again just for a little bit to find out that Bards really do suck, and I am not going to bother thinking about starting a Bard. I did ONE proof for Logic, and then went to the Smurf Center to work on my Computer Science. I am currently doing that now, but depressed because I can’t seem to figure out how to do the assignment. I am planning on getting up at about 6am tomorrow so I can play on Sojourn in the mornings now instead of at night when I should be doing homework. Hopefully I will be done with this assignment soon enough so I don’t have to worry about getting too little sleep.

I woke up at about 11:30 am this morning. Chris, John and I went to lunch at noon after we all took a shower. We ate lunch outside for the first time ever. I was very happy because they had rolls today. I ate five rolls. After lunch we went back to Simkins and Chris and Doug went to the mall to go shopping. John went to tower records to pick up his John William’s CD. I logged onto Sojourn for about 2 hours to play some. I grouped and got a notch in my exp. (I’m level 18 Monk right now). After that I tried to study Logic a little but wasn’t very good at it. I called Mom and Dad, but mom was mopping the floor. So she said that she was going to call me back, I tried to call Larry but he wasn’t home. Larry still owes me $200. I hope he doesn’t forget and I hope that he pays me back soon. Since Mom never called back I called them and Dad answered. I talked to him for a while. He told me that they were doing a lot of house work, and that they are having a party at their house next weekend. Mom told me that she can’t work overtime anymore. She also told me to tell them when I need money. I have about $730 in my account. Mom asked how much that ski trip that Craig was telling me about would cost. I told her about $260, and she didn’t seem to enthusiastic about it. After I talked to mom and dad, I went out to dinner with Chris, Doug and John. We went to some small Chinese restaurant on Guadalupe. I had some Chicken dish that was pretty good, however I wasn’t filled up. After dinner I went over my CS some and then we went to the IM Football game. We played “The Beasts” and won 12-0. I was VERY happy because they were almost undefeated when we played them. After that I went to the SMURF center to do my CS homework. I hope to be able to get up at 5:30am tomorrow morning to do my Laundry, and play Sojourn.

I was planning on waking up at about 5:30am, but I didn’t get home from the computer lab until 3am, so I had to sleep later. I didn’t wake up until 9am instead. I went to all of my classes. I don’t think I paid much attention at all in my calculus discussion class. In Philosophy discussion we just went over briefly what is going to be on the test tomorrow. I didn’t pay much attention in Computer Science either, instead thinking about Sojourn. I think I might try to do a ‘mud-a-thon’ this weekend to see how long I can mud while Doug and John are gone this weekend. The day was pretty slow in all. I didn’t MUD much today, I am going to go to bed early (around 11:15pm) in order to get up at about 5am to do my Laundry and to MUD.

I woke up at 5:30, and did my laundry. While my laundry was going, I messed around on the computer playing Sojourn. I grouped with 1 Druid guy who was level 15. We killed some Navy Seamen, and he reached level 16, and got a new circle of spells. At the end of the time playing this morning, I was able to get to the half-way point to level 20, so hopefully tomorrow morning will prove to be good if I can reach level 20 then. I went to classes. I had my Philosophy test today. I don’t think I did exceptionally well, but we will have to see. It is a good thing that he is grading it on a curve. John, Doug and I went to breakfast together this morning. Right after breakfast, we went to the Texas Union center to get our tickets to see President Clinton on Monday. I didn’t do much after classes, but sleep some, play on Sojourn a little, and did my Calculus homework.

I didn’t get home until 6:30am from being at the computer lab all night. I was trying to roll a new character for Sojourn. I want to make a Necromancer with all good stats, but tintin doesn’t seem to go a good job of automating this. I was doing it by hand till about 6:15 when I gave up because I was falling asleep and was getting nowhere. To add onto this, the game was crashing very often, meaning that I had to keep starting over. Today, when I woke up at about 12:30pm, I didn’t go to Lunch because I was still tired. However, I worked with Telix for Windows and wrote a telix script that will automate the rolling of good stats. I went to computer science, my only class and listened to the lecture. After class I went to the tower to pay my $6.00 petition fee to get the credit for a math course I got credit for by taking the SAT II. I came back home and worked on trying to roll a character a little more. I didn’t have luck, so I stopped and went to dinner with Nate (the guy across the hall). Two guys Nate knew sat with us, but didn’t seem all too friendly. After dinner I tried to roll my character a little more, but the game was crashing a lot so it interfered with it. As of 9:13pm I am still trying to roll my character. I am determined to get it done tonight so I can try to level my new-found-necromancer all day tomorrow.

I woke up at about 5:30am this morning. I did my laundry and switched over all of my equipment from Nocus, my Necromancer on Sojourn back to Noc. I decided that I’m going to try to play Noc anyway. I went to Calculus and couldn’t stay awake during class. I was very upset at this fact. I went to lunch and came back to get a little sleep. After that I went to Astronomy, which was just a guest-lecture by some guy with a funny accent. I copied down a lot of formulas that we will need on out homework. Philosophy was pretty good as well, I was able to stay awake and alert and I think I absorbed the lecture pretty well. I hope I did good on my test in there. Right after Logic, I went to the Texas Union to get the Spring course schedule. I came back home for a few minutes, and then Doug, Chris and I went to dinner. Dinner wasn’t very good today, they didn’t have anything that was appealing, so I got pepperoni pizza, salad, four rolls, and cake. After coming back, I logged onto Sojourn to try to get Noc to level 28. I killed that damn bard 12 times total and never leveled, so I assume that’s not good to do.

I meant to wake up at 6am, but I had a dream last night that I was in a small room with a bomb and I had to disarm it, but unfortunately, I had one of those interactive dreams to where turning off my alarm clock was the objective. So, in the morning I woke up very quick, turned off my alarm, and went back to sleep. I slept in more than I wanted to, and only woke up at 8:30. I wasn’t able to study in the morning like I wanted too. A while after I woke up, I checked my mail, and then a little while after that Doug and I went to the Computer Science building (Taylor Hall) to get our academic advising done. We went to pick up our RIS forms, and they didn’t seem to have mine. (The RIS form is your registration information sheet). They had Doug’s however, so I went to talk to the people in the undergraduate office. The man in the office told me that according to the computer records, I wasn’t even a computer science major.. I was listed as an undeclared major. So, I went to the College of Natural Science building to get my major change. I walked into a small office with a very unhappy looking girl. There were two people in front of me, who had stupid questions and got out of the way very quickly. I kindly asked if I could get my major changed, and she changed me to Computer Science BS. I then had my RIS form, and went back to Taylor to get advised. I waited in line for about 15 minutes. The lady advising me told me that I should not take Physics next semester because it would be too much of a workload. So we decided that I should take CS315, English, M408D, and either Philosophy, or Psychology. After getting advised, I went back home and Doug and I went to lunch at about noon. They didn’t have that much good food. They had this good sausage sandwich. But the other food wasn’t that good. After lunch, I went back home to study some more Computer Science, because I had my CS midterm today. After studying, I went to my Logic Discussion class. Our TA went over the past homework assignment. He also told us that the next homework assignment would be just as long, so we should be prepared. After my Logic discussion class I went to Computer Science to take my mid-term. I was very surprised at the ease of the mid-term. Dr. Novak surprised me because his homework assignments are very, VERY hard. After my CS test, I came back home and did not go to my Tennis class. I didn’t go because the weather out was very dreary and not very good for tennis playing. Also, the battery in my car is dead, so I need to get Doug to jump-start it for me so I can let the alternator charge it up. After dinner, I checked my E-Mail. Liz replied to me and told me about her. She told me about different activities put on by her church. She invited me to some, and I think I want to go tom some with her. I wrote her back. Although she gave me the usual ‘you are a very sweet guy’ phrase that makes me sick because that means that she kinds I’m nice but not likable? I dunno. After I wrote her back, I got a call from Chris Rash. I was very happy to hear from Chris. He told me that he was going to Colorado on Nov. 14. I am very happy for him and also very jealous because he is going to be skiing for a long time and having a good time. He decided that he hates computers. After he goes to Colorado, he Is going up to Portland, Oregon. After that he is going to Dublin, and from Dublin, he will go all across Europe. I feel very happy for him and I hope he has a good time. He told me that he is going to send me some post-cards. I was feeling pretty moody after he called because I was very decided that I want to go Skiing. Doug and I are trying to get some people together that we can go on a ski-trip to Taos over Spring Break. I sure hope we can do that and I also hope I can afford it. I went for a walk outside because it was pretty cold, and I couldn’t clear my thoughts enough to study. After I got back, I studied some more, but Doug, Chris, and John got back and decided to use out room for a party-room and listen to cheesy TV-show songs. I am going to bed now because it is late and I want to get up early.
