It has been over TWO months since I have written in this. I feel VERY bad for neglecting to do this. My whole character suffers when I can’t even do a simple daily job of keeping up with my life. I am only going to regret this in the future. In that time, I have experienced MANY things, things that I would want to know the details of in the future, things that HAVE affected my life.
On May 28th, 1995 I graduated from High School. That night I went to the ‘project graduation’ a drug and alcohol free party. It was from 10pm till 7am at a ranch in Bandera, Texas. It was a fun night, I got to see all of my friends whom I only wish I had an eternity to spend time with. Time is such an evil, but necessary thing. Time is SO precious, to waste even a fraction of a second is very, VERY bad. My whole time in High School has many good memories, and yet, I know that I could have made it better, as everyone would probably thing. If we had a second chance, we would ‘make things right’. Although this might not be true, as I saw an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation where Picard was given a chance by ‘Q’ to relive his youth. Picard said that he ‘regretted’ many things he did, but when he went back, and made things right by being more cautious, the future for him was very bleak and boring because he had always lived the paranoid life. A person needs many different experiences to shape their personality.
Right now as I type this, I have head-phones on and am listening to Rush “Power Windows” Music that before I said that I hated when Larry used to listen to it. But listening to it now only reminds me of all the good times I had with him and the time was spent, and so I listen to it only for the memories. Music has such a WONDERFUL aspect of locking in the essence of the time and the activities that we do that is very important to listen to as much of it and as much variety as you can.
I will try to remember some of the events that happened and record the essence of them in future entries. And now onto today: Today I was awaken by a knock on my door, it was Deneise, the cleaning lady, she asked if she could have the bed sheets. It was already around 9:45, so I decided to wake up. I got up and used my computer, doing some mantinence things with Windows 95 (build 480!). I set up the SLIP networking and send Dad some e-mail. I sent him the lottery numbers for Thursday nights drawings. After that Craig made some SPAM sandwiches. We were going to go to work, but decided that it was too late and too hot, so we would wait for the evening. I had to be at Circuit City at 3:30 to let them install my new Car CD player. My portable Discman, tape adapter, two CD’s (Catching up with Depeche Mode, and Achtung Baby) along with the CD carrying case were stolen from Brian’s car, the scumbgs had broken his window, taken HIS stereo, and my CD stuff. Brian said that he would re-imburse me, and I told him just to let me pay the difference of a new car CD-player. I ended up spending $200, as the total bill was $400.
After getting that installed, I came home. Brian, his Mom, his Brother, and his Brothers friend showed up so we had take-out bill millers bar-b-q.
